So I have a wireless phone charging pad plugged in to the USB port. The Uconnect screen flashes a little square dialog box with a USB error message approximately every 5 seconds. Does anybody know how to turn this off or or cure it? It's rather annoying.

I think the truck is looking for a smart device on the other end of the USB cord but all I want to do is charge my phone wirelessly without error messages.

It might be trying to pull too much juice and that's why it's throwing errors.
Have you tried the USB port in your center console? Those are generally not "media" ports.
You also might have an AC inverter plug right under that? Could use a regular charger plug too.

Nope, this truck is *supposed* to have the AC plug under there, but it was apparently deleted by Stellantis and shown on my window sticker as a $40 credit. Very annoying, as I do love having A/C power in my trucks.

I will try routing the cord to the console and try that. Thanks.

I had to dumb down my charging pad. Truck didn’t like the rapid from the USB port

I plugged it into the USB port in the console and problem is solved. Eventually I want to run an A/C inverter, but for now this works. Thanks.

Was the AC outlet removed from the rear of the center console also?? that sucks! the inverter is rather handy.

Yep they deleted all the outlets and inverter. I don't know if the wiring harness is there or not, haven't looked. But for the cost of retrofitting factory parts I could just install an aftermarket inverter and have 2,000 watts instead of 400.

It's a bad time to order a truck. You never know what equipment is and isn't going to be on it when it shows up.

I think the only thing that got deleted on mine was the Active Air Dam.

Nothing got deleted from my truck.
Probably because I ordered a Limited fully loaded except for trailer brake.
I think Limiteds got special treatment at the factory.
