Just gonna throw this out there. Yesterday after I left work I had some slow going to get through some traffic lights. I noticed that the start/stop wasn’t working. Didn’t think much of it. After I got going about 35-40 mph, I noticed my trans wouldn’t shift. It was in third gear. So I found a place to stop and shut the truck off. Waited a few minutes and restarted. Shifted fine and the start/stop was ok too.
I did have a solid yellow engine light that stayed on. Drove to work this morning, light still there. Drove home after work, still had the light.
Hooked up AlfaOBD and found the code. I did use Alfa to clear the code, not sure , maybe it would have cleared itself eventually anyway.
The same thing happened to me over a year ago and it wouldn’t shift. After shutdown, then restarted everything was back to normal.

Invalid data received from the power steering control module.
That could be a number of things. I would take a look at the steering rack connector, remember reading about a contaminated connector?
