This is the second time I have had my steering wheel clock spring replaced on my new 24 Ram with 15000 miles. I hope this is not going to be a chronic issue. Does anyone else have this issue?

I have a 2023 which shipped with a faulty clock spring from the factory. It was replaced at 3000 miles and I haven't had any issue since. I have almost 30000 miles now.

Had mine, in my 2023, replaced earlier this year. I think there has been a revision or two made for this.
No issues since replacement.
Good luck.

Had mine replaced on my 23 shortly after I bought it. First one fixed the problem but made a scraping noise. The next one was a new part number and fixed the problem. Received a recall notice for the turn signal, Clock spring( one piece) several weeks ago.

Did you loose the left hand side streering command buttons?

only the cruise control worked on the wheel buttons found out today there must be a short in the wires in the column dealer working on it now.

That is the first thing they asked me when

Had mine replaced in 2023, replacement is now failing and I am waiting on backorder part. The temp fix is to turn out auto highbeams if equipped.

i replaced the clock spring myself with a new part. Didn't fix the problem. I was told to change the steering wheel switch. So did that and still no go. One member had the dealer change out the clock spring, buttons and Inverter control module. Then it all worked. I think will change that (Inverter Module)nand cross fingers it works. If it doesn't, i don't know what to do. If its a bad earth, i don't know where to look.

Long shot, did you replace the inverter and did it fix the issue?

Yep replaced the inverter also and still not working. Dealer has done a reset of the Body Control Module and still not working. I am lost to what is happening with i t. I have pulled the dash apart several times to see if a wire might be lose and cant find anything. So not happy right now.

I had mine replaced on my 2025 Warlock at around 600 miles. A little over 2000 miles, and no issues so far.

wish mine was an easy fix. Its driving me nuts. Can't select anything on the dash display like reset oil change etc.

I just wish the clunky, odd acting transmission was better now. If I lug it in lower gear going up a grade, it almost acts like a manual transmission that needs to be downshifted. Bucking, rattling, and carrying on until I kick it down into a lower gear. No codes are ever thrown, so I guess that it is just the nature of the power train.

Do you any of you have the part number for the clock spring? I tried using the one listed on the actual part and a search comes up with nothing. I just installed a new steering wheel and fear I may have damaged the clock spring. All functions work fine, no airbag light, just making a crinkling sound. And yes my truck needs an alignment, the steering wheel is not centered.
