Rambo 2024

Hey there. 2024 Ram Laramie hemi. In every car I’ve ever owned and I mean every single day one, “If” the climate control wants to automatically switch to “recycled air” the light on the button will turn on (on this car amber colored) to let the driver know it’s in “recirculation mode”. I quickly learned mine does not do this. The reason I know is once it gets into recirculation mode, the fan gets louder and I don’t smell outside smells. I have to press the button once, the light comes on, I press it again, the light goes off then I have fresh air.
Now, I can “manually” switch back and forth with no issue. It’s only when the computer thinks it should be in “recycle” mode but it doesn’t alert the driver with the light illuminating.
I run mine on fresh air 99% of the time to keep ducts dry and fresh. I only want to “manually” press recycle when behind a smelly diesel, etc.
I don’t know if it’s a glitch on my specific truck or just a crappy design?
Anyone else experience this ?
