I'm looking for some real world advice on chrome wheels. I want some new wheels for my truck and I'm looking at satin bronze or chrome. I've never had chrome wheels and was wondering how difficult they were to keep clean and from getting pitted from brake dust and road salt? I know that powder coated wheels are more forgiving and I've had polished wheels in the past and will not go that route again. Does anyone have chrome wheels and would you recommend or say stay away from chrome?

Purely subjective -- on my 25 I have the optional factory full chrome wheels. When I bought my truck, all 25s on the lot had full chrome wheels.
I hate them! pain to keep shiny and clean.
Look good when they are clean - too much work to keep them shiny!

I’m sure a nice coat of wax would help

Thanks for the replies. I guess the same would be for gloss powder coated wheels? I'm more looking for the durability of chrome wheels I guess? I have an opportunity to purchase chrome factory style 22 inch wheels at a good price, they are not the PVD chrome, but traditional chrome. I guess my question should have been abut the durability of chrome wheels?

I wax all my wheels and the dust blows right off, def helps
