Chirping sound when applying brakes at slow speeds

I have a 2021 ram 1500 with 6509 miles (I'm the second owner) and when I drive at slow speeds and apply the brakes I hear a chirping sound on the front brakes only. All moving components have been lubricated by the dealer and firestone and the noise returns. Both had said that the rotors have a small rust ridge on them and firestone says maybe changing the front pads and rotors may fix the issue . Wondering if anybody has had this issue and has gotten it resolved. Truck is going back to firestone tomorrow as they want to look at it again.

They should check the rotors for run out. Use a dial gauge to see if gauge moves when spinning the rotor. The allowable tolerance .0012- .002.

If it sounds kind of like crickets chirping then it will most likely be your front brake pad clips. My truck had the same issue and after replacing the pad hardware only (for $8.00 and an hour of my time) the noise went away. You could also try lightly greasing the surface of the clips where they sit on the calipers and pads.
