So i am driving mu 2021 limited etorque down the highway, i want to pass someone press the gas pedal and int goes to about 5000 rpm’s and stays there for couple of seconds loss of power and then starts upshifting and i can finally pass. The check engine light comes on . But for several seconds it doesn’t know what to do, i feel like it will shut down completely, bery scary when you’re at 70-80 miles per hour. Next day i have an appointment at the dealer , wake up remote start, no more check engine.

The ECU should store any codes that were thrown. Dealer should be able to pull the codes even if the CEL is off.

The dealer said no ecu codes. Just some battery codes. It happened again today. Same exact thing. I will try to go back when i have time. The problem is that the check engine light goes off .

I think BowDown is onto something. Dealer said there were some battery codes, did they at least check the battery out? Quite a few people have had issues with the OEM battery.

Problem is Check Engine light can mean so many things. From what others reported a bad battery can turn on Christmas lights on ur dash. Now finding out if its the generator or Battery? But I definitely would drop it off and get a loaner.
