Anybody an expert on parts uinvestigation? The center console trim pieces on my truck are starting to bubble. I've seen others say the same. Doing a search for parts, and Mopar parts companies have multiple part numbers and names for the same parts. I know of 3 different trim pieces for the RAM, but only two for the Rebel. The red trimmed panels, the silver/gray and brushed aluminum panels and the leather covered for the Limited.

The Rebel only came with the red trim or the silver/gray and aluminum. Mine is the latter. See the pics below.

Anybody know what part numbers I need to replace my top console trim? Thanks

I’m not following which pieces you’re looking for. I haven’t heard of the center console pieces bubbling, just the leather dash. Can you identify the pieces you’re asking about? And maybe include pics of the bubbling.

My truck is in mint condition except for the finish failing on my console plastics. You can see where I already repainted the slider and the matte finish came out darker and shinier than it should have, but the same thing happened there, where paint just started flaking off.

That's a new one for me. I've never seen it. I also don't remember seeing any threads about that. Doesn't matter though as that doesn't help you. I found the pieces for the standard Rebel interior with red, but I'm at a loss to find the one you have. Maybe you can work with your local dealership parts guy and figure it out. Here's the pieces I found...

I found those also on BAM's site. When looking at part #7 and #20, you'll see they call them different things for the same part. They call them "console panel" and "shifter bezel trim". There are 3 part numbers and I assumed the higher priced ones are leather covered for the Limited, but I was wrong.

I called a dealer and gave them my VIN. According to them, the most expensive part number shown is the correct one for my truck. One price is ~$35, another is ~$105 and the third is ~$165 at BAM. My dealership said they are about $250each from the parts counter!!!

I'm hoping to find out what the difference is in the trim panels/prices. If the leather is cheaper than my plastic, maybe I'll go that route since I have leather interior.

Below is from another thread I found on this forum. I found some on other forums also, but I don't know if I can post links to threads on competing forums here. This was in response to not seeing any threads about it. I stumbled on one and reserached for the others.
