The most recent thread I could find was from 2023, I'm looking for additional opinions and input. If it's far more cost effective to swap just the muffler as opposed to the entire system, why isn't that considered the norm? Aside from damage to the stock system, what would be that benefit(s) to replacing the entire exhaust? I've heard that replacing just the muffler could create a drone in the cab. I also heard that while it can sound good and very similar, you won't get the "full" sound by replacing the muffler. What else am I missing? I can afford both but I want to make sure I know as much as I can before making a decision. Thanks!

I dont see how replacing the entire exhaust would be a problem.
Or just the muffler. FB Fabrications as mentioned here in a thread makes a replacement round muffler.
I wouldnt delete the resonators though. Thats just a personal opinion though.
