Cargo Lamp Lights

Hey everyone, Noticing an issue with my 2024 when pressing the cargo lamp switch on the headlight dial, nothing happens, no light on the dashboard to signify they are one, but the lights function as normal when the door opens, tailgate gets put down etc. Has anyone run into this issue or have found a fix for it?

Did that change with 2024+? My 2023 gives the little icon on the dash if you manually press the button to turn them on to show they're on..

I'd pull the headlight switch panel, it just pops out. Look at the wiring to see if anything is obvious. But it may be a programming issue as well.

my 24 seems to be the same.

Nothing obvious behind the switch, took a look at alpha OBD and showed as disabled, tried to enable it and nothing occurred. Looks like a trip to the dealership is going to occur

Usually it's the other way for me, I don't want the cargo light on everytime I drop the tailgate, so I actually have to go in and press the button to turn it off, for my 2019 there is a symbol on the gauge cluster anytime I press it, manualy or automatic.

I have a 20. There is an Icon on my gauge cluster when the lights are on. I turned on the tailgate ajar warning and now the bed lights come on when I open a cab door, manually turn on the back loading lights, and when I open my tailgate. I like that, when I do not want the bed lights I just hit the button on the light fixture and get on with whatever I am doing. I find this one of my truck's most handy mods/features.

I still can't figure out the 24... no dash light. Cargo light comes ON when gate is opened but it seems to stay ON. Normal? I m sure it s user error. Pushing the button from in the truck gives me no indications what s going on.???

I messed around with JScan, now with my 2500 it randomly works light in dash now, also activated my tow mirror cargo lights as well. Only thing that is needed is the vehicle in Run or running! Not really sure what I did though, only thing I changed was LED low beams present after installing my lastfit bulbs. I have also realized I am on the wrong forum xD
