Hey, all! I have a 2019 Big Horn that I love. It's leveled with 35x12.5r20 mud tires and Mayhem Warrior 20x10 wheels. Obviously, I like a custom look on my rig. For that reason, I have red rock lights in my wheel wells and behind my grille. Today, I just added some Rough Country ditch lights with amber DRL. I'm trying to decide how I'm going to run them most of the time, so I'm looking for opinions, please.
My choices are to run them with the RC caps on and the DRL becomes a dim red glow at night (can't be seen during the day very well) which matches my rock/grille lights perfectly, or to run them with the caps off with gives a bright amber glow which goes well with my parking/running lights, so it still seems like a cohesive theme.
Obviously, when I'm off-road on trails (typically for hunting), the caps will be off so I can have the extra illumination of the ditch lights, but I'm thinking more about when I'm just heading to the store or whatnot because it's my daily driver, also. Here are a few pics of the truck with and without the caps on the ditch lights. What do you guys think looks best?
