Can't get part for Repair!

Here just to vent... I'm going on 2 months and now date pushed back another month to get collision place to get a rear quarter panel as on back order.

The gave me Ram customer care # of course got Philippines that they just run script even when I want them to take a complaint and talk over me like a robot with script.

But seriously what's going on with Ram parts supply chain if they can't deliver a rear quarter panel for a 2021 Ram Laramie? It's not like it's the dang generator.

Similar issue with 21 Rebel. Different from your case though as it was under warranty. Electronic shift module broke and part on national backorder. Appeared 3 months later. Friend who works in Dodge parts dept said, in some cases, RAM will do a special order for one part to avoid a buy back. He thinks that's what happened in my case.

Options for you might be an aftermarket source that does reproduction body panels, if there is one, or search car-part.com for a used panel.

I am going through something similar right now. Sideswipe took off my passenger rear view trailer tow mirror (68446972AA). Repair shop says there are NONE available in North America, no restock date and 21 trucks ahead of mine on the waiting list.

Think I've read on here where people are waiting over 6 months for an Etorque replacement. On month two I'd probably be trading the truck in lol.

I bought my '23 new almost exactly 2 years ago, it's been to dealer for problems 4 times so far. Just picked it up Tuesday for the last one. I told my wife that if this keeps happening, I'm going to trade it in near the end of the warranty period.
