Canadian Ram Concerns?

On the hunt for a used 23+ Limited. I’m in Texas and found one outfitted almost exactly like I want in Colorado. When I pull the window sticker, it appears it was officially built for and sold in Canada when it was new. It’s got less than 30 miles on it now.

Question is, aside from the (likely) faint smell of maple syrup in the cab and all the Sirius presets set to Hockey channels, any reason this should be a cause for concern?

The main concern I would have is that the factory warranty left on the truck will not be honored at any US dealerships. You would have to go to a Canadian dealership for any warranty work on the truck.

That’s one of the big things I was wondering. Curious how I could confirm that?

From research I’ve done, there may be occasions when the warranty is honored, but it’s very iffy. It also depends on the manufacturer. But I’ve seen too many people make threads over the years in this forum and other Dodge/Ram forums, complaining that something which would normally be covered wasn’t being honored. For simplicity sake I just advise people to avoid buying a car or truck that was made for another market if they are at all concerned with keeping whatever is left of the factory warranty.

another thing to note, which some may find annoying, is that the Canadian Rams cannot turn off the DRLs and also have their lowbeams set as their DRLs

i would rock the Canadian exclusive 5th gen sport.
really you can't find one in texas? did you search on carfax? this is sweet less than 20k miles on it and it's 5.7 without e-torque...winner winner chicken diner.
