Can you not play video??

So I just went from a Camry they let you play video in park off a usb thumb drive. Does the 12 inch uconnect not let you play video in park?

From what I was looking at when deciding between 12" and 8.4NAV - you need an external "wifi" device to play them. Nothing internal. I'm sure if the Engineers wanted to start doing that, they could just have a computer programmer write and app an update or sell it to all of use that wanted it. (uConnect is a UNIX/LINUX-based OS for those of you who understand Techie Talk.)

Has anyone else on here opted to external playing? I was told that you could use your cell to do so on some things.
