Can those who've installed 3.5" Ready lift themselves offer any tips/tricks/insight???

My dealership quoted me $1400.00 to install 3.5" sst Readylift w/ alignment and I just don't trust anyone 100% installing the kit properly and man that's a lot of money in my opinion. After reviewing the installation video video several times I am pretty confident I could do it myself with the proper jacks and spring/strut compressor. The biggest issue I feel i will run into is supporting my truck and dropping the rear axle. Can anyone offer any suggestions or advice on how they installed the kit themselves and what tools/jacks you used???
