Can the air suspension overload prevent the tcm from not shifting?

I did overload the capacity in the bed according to the light coming on. I drove away from the yard and got home. Backed up okay for a few steps. Then would not shift in reverse or drive. Turned off and finally shifted after several attempts. The problem continued even when unloaded. Took the truck in the dealer replace the shifter and something else. Said was fine. The third time I took it in, they noticed the light and said the overload is the problem. Any thoughts? I own a 2017 laramie longhorn with 4 wheel drive and crewcab.
