Can audio be turned off without the screen turning off also?

I wanted to turn off the audio but still have the screen on for climate controls, but can't figure out how to do this. What am I missing? #ifeelstoopidfornotknowing

1- just turn the volume all the way down.
2- hit mute (but I think it'll come back full volume if you turn the truck off & back on, or move the volume at all)

I have wondered the same thing, there seems to be no simple "Off" option for media... As others stated it looks like the best solution is to just turn the volume down. I have also experienced the volume getting stuck on low, like when it goes low for the navigation to speak, but then does not return to the previous volume. I have to hit the power off then back on and it clears it.

Have had the same thing in my last 3 vehicles. Turning down the volume is the only answer, which does the job.
