Cam swap to delete VVT & MDS

Anybody in here done a cam swap to eliminate VVT and MDS? My 2019’s lifters are making noise at start up so I’m probably going to do a Texas Speed kit since they are 5 minutes from me. Also going to need a tune obviously going this route. Anybody else done this yet?

If that fixes your lifter bleed down and startup rattle, please post back with your results!

The sound you describe sounds exactly like a cracked exhaust manifold, not a cam/lifter. Certainly could be either, but I'd surely verify before spending that kind of money unnecessarily.
