How many quarts of fluid is spec’d to fill the Borg Warner 48-11 Auto 4wd transfer case?

There aren't really the number, our manual indicate that "The fluid level should be even with the bottom of the fill hole (within 1/4 in (6.4 mm) of edge of hole) for the front axle and rear axle." If you just want to know how many quarts to buy, then buy 2 quarts for the front and 4 quarts for the rear. Front will need around 1.4 quart to level with fill neck and rear around 3.4 quart.

Front and rear? You're talking about the diffs. He's asking about the transfer case.
 
Op!!! sorry, working and reading forums at the same time does not work....;);). Anyway, the transfer case should take around 1.7 quart.
