Does anyone else experience an intermittent "bump" or "thud" when the truck downshifts into first gear? It seems to only happen about 50% of the time. It also almost feels like it lurches the truck forward as well.

There are several threads on this -- My '22 Limited does this as well. This is my fourth Ram with the 8 speed and this the first one to do this. I'm curious to see what the solution is.

Never experienced this. Maybe it was something that was corrected in later model years.
Faintly remember, it was the torque converter disengaging???

I had this problem on my 2019 limited. If I remember correctly it was a common issue discussed on this forum. Dealer did a flash of something and I haven't had the problem since.
