Hey all,

Seems like recently my trucks front brakes aren’t releasing all the way. Only happens right as I'm pulling away from a parking spot and only lasts for about 5 feet or so and is described as a general rubbing noise and produces a little bit of a vibration. I’ve got the auto parking brake off as well so I don’t think it’s that. Anyone have this issue before? Thanks!

Hmm. This is the first I’ve heard of this issue. I think a trip to the dealer may be warranted.

If I could get it to consistently do it or find out how to make it do it I would. It’s like it only happens when the truck sits for a few hours or more. It won’t happen if I run into a store and then leave.

FYI for anyone who may run across this issue. I re-enabled the auto park brake feature on my truck before going into work today, started the truck, released the parking brake, and drove away without any noises or rubbing sounds. Almost confirms it was the parking brake rubbing. Will have to keep playing with it to see what happens if I turn the brake off for a while again.
