I’m considering welding in a borla pro xs muffler instead of getting a full exhaust. Any thoughts would be appreciated. It is single inlet single outlet. Thanks

I say go for it, if it’s not to your liking then you can always go full catback.

That's how I did mine. The muffler shop will have to fabricate you 2 short pipes to hook up the dual tail pipes. The original muffler I 1 in and 1 out and the 2 tail pipes hook together and go into 1 pipe.

Stock is single in/single out and this Borla is a direct swap, with an extension piece welded of course. I love mine.

Decided to put a single in single out Flowmaster 40. It has a deeper sound. No drone. I honestly can’t really tell that much of anything in the cabin. Outside sounds deep not raspy and the wife approves. I did the welding and bent the extra pipe. My ig is white_horse_302
