Has anyone tried to have crossover installed on the HK subwoofer to filter out the low/mid frequencies? if there were a way to set that crossover around 20HZ that would just about eliminate all the boominess that's in the sub and only pass through true sub frequencies. The Ram engineers should have incorporated a crossover into the uConnect radio that included subwoofer controls. Even cheap Android car stereos have 10 and 12 band EQ and subwoofer controls. So far This single issue is a huge failure that Ram has completely failed to address. I can be done through a software update. I think there's not enough consumer complaints for them to do anything about it. Everything in this truck is top of the line except the subwoofer design and controls.

The OEM sub does not do well with the actual low frequencies. That plus it being mounted to the back wall creates a lot of that boomy sounding bass.
