Hey everyone,

I have a 2023 RAM 1500 Bighorn and as of last week my blind spot warning light on my outside mirrors went away. I do not have the blind spot monitoring system on my model, just a warning light if someone is close in the other lane. I thought maybe I turned off the warning light (not sure if that is even possible or not) by accident. Has anyone dealt with this situation? I can not take the truck up to the shop until the 30th. Just hoping it is an easy fix or something I can do to turn them blind spot warning lights back on.

Thank you.

Your statements are conflicting. You say you don't have blindspot monitoring, yet you say you had the light which means you have it. I'm confused. Do you have the little triangle on your mirrors? And did you check the settings in Uconnect?

I just went back and re-read what I originally typed. You are right. I should have stated I do not have LaneSense departure on my vehicle, but I do have blind spot monitoring. Up until 3 weeks ago I had a light show up on my mirror that indicated a car/object was close to me. Now that light does not come on. I do not see a triangle on either of my side mirrors, however, I was told I would not see a triangle or circle unless the light is activated by a car/object near my truck.

You can definitely see the outline of the triangle on the mirror even off. Have you checked the settings? Have you cleaned your taillights? If none of those make a difference, you might night to see the dealer.

Truck was washed recently. I checked the settings and didn't see anything that related to this issue. Thanks for the options and responses. I will set up an appointment for further evaluation.

So this is confusing. Obviously you would not see a lit triangle unless a vehicle was in your blind spot. If you do not see that triangle light up when a vehicle is in your blind spot then there is something wrong. If you saw it up until 3 weeks ago and don't see it now, you have an issue.
