Black out my front end!

I just bought a 2022 black Rebel. Should be here next week. I have Black rims on order w/35" tires, and I want to black out the front end like the picture posted. My questions are:

How hard is it to remove the skid plate, and what is it made of. Powder coat it? (info?)
How do you remove the trim on the front of the hood for paint?
Best way to blackout the RAM logo in the grill?
Can the black plastic grill trim be removed to paint, or just leave that be?

The silver lower bumper trim is metal. Should be able to powder coat it.

You could just spray it but it depends on your skill level.

I would also add it depends on what spray you use. I can purchase trim spray from my local auto paint store. The can comes with a different nozzle. The paint seems to come out finer, different spray pattern, dries faster and is more user friendly than the rustoleum type paint rattle cans from the local hardware or big box store.

Also if you know someone with a High Volume Low Pressure sprayer you can gain a lot more control.

I started out with an Apollo 2 stage 800 model to finish my interior doors, windows and trim work with stain and water base urethane 30 years ago. Works great for exterior metal doors using 4 parts rustoleum with 1 part thinner. Still works great with thin products to this day. Made my money back doing a friend's apartment's doors and trim.

Yea I bought a HF black widow HVLP gun and paired it with my 20gal compressor and in line water separator. Sprayed some parts for a neighbor using rustoleum flat black 4:1 ratio and came out nice!

I’ve also seen people with that skid plate (bottom bumper portion) use the raptor liner with great results.

A lot of it boils down to prep and patience.

I bought the mopar black Ram letters on amazon for $70. I figure oem is prob my best bet. Now for the skid plate, what do you guys think of this? Im sure with -18 off set and that ride height you are going to rub pretty good but on the bright side you won’t be hitting the UCA

I was told that the Rebel comes with a 1" lift, and that the 35's will fit perfect (hope thats true)

That is not true, at least not without a front level.
