Bilstein install quote

Was at the dealership this morning to get the first of 4 free oil changes and tire rotation. Asked about having Bilsteins installed and an alignment. They quoted me $800!

Asked an independent shop yesterday and they quoted around $300 for the Bilstein install but said their alignment machine is only calibrated for up to a 2018 Ram. Anyone know if the alignment specs are the same on an 18 and 2020 Ram 1500?

I've had an alignment done on my 2020, don't know what they used. It was a local shop. $300 for install is a decent quote. I would expect 1.5-3 hours of labor for a shop.

Man, where you guys live? We are getting screwed here in CA. I just got a couple of quotes to install Bilstien 5100's plus alignment, cheapest was $750 the other was $1,000!

I'm in TN. Can't imagine having to pay those prices!

Ask them to print out the quote with what they're charging. An alignment should be around $100 (I've seen 75-125), and like I said no more than 3 hours labor. The rears you don't even have to take the wheels off.
