Beep/ alert noise

Theres this annoying Beep/ alert noise every so often. It's like beep beep beep. Not a horn noise. when driving. It doesn't do it constantly but it's there.

I just picked it up brand new 2024 Laramie. I had a 2020 and it didn't make this noise. Anyone know what it is? It seems randomly.

I’m assuming it does, it’s pretty much fully loaded. I tried to find the speed limit thing in the settings but couldn’t find it. It seems like a speed warning but doesn’t tell me. Just beeps.

I don't recall if it's in the safety or navigation settings. Maybe the Navigation app itself. There are more settings there. Thinking it's in those. I messed up and enabled it. Drove me bonkers.

Yep.. probably this.. put it on navigation on the screen..where it normally beeps, you’ll see.

Most alerts I get accompany a popup message but there are 2 or 3 I get than receive no popup message. One of them is a warning about speed camera's ahead.
You can turn most of the alerts off in the settings, and I have, but I'm still getting one occasionally as I approach an intersection that I don't know what is causing it. It's a ding, ding, ding, with no popup message.


After about 1.5 years and 15000 miles I received the pop-up below for the first and only time just the other day. I wasn't using any navigation system.

HAAS alert.
Can’t turn them off…not that I could find anyways.
Started getting them on mine I think a couple months ago…

Yes and it's exactly this kind of annoyance that drove me to remove Waze from my phone more than a year ago. It kept imagining and warning of obstacles that did not exist.

I don't use Waze much but it's always pritty good about obstacles ahead.

Road signs are always pretty good about warning of obstacles ahead, but Waze was horrible at it. It continues to warn you about temporary issues, like a crash or abandoned car, very long after the issue has been resolved and that makes it worthless.

I unchecked every "Alert" setting in the nav settings. Lets see lol. Really strange.

That's what's happening to mine DING DING DING no Message or anything. Nothing on the nav either
