The last week while driving and hitting good size bumps I noticed while looking in my side mirror that the bed appears to be bouncing a bit. I’m not sure if it could be the tow mirror shaking a little giving me this illusion or if the bed has some “play” in it when empty. I crawled under the truck and checked 1 of the bolts holding the bed to frame and was very tight. I was just checking if anyone else has noticed this also. I live in Rhode Island which has some of the worst roads I’ve ever seen!! Thanks for the input

The bed is mounted directly to the frame of the truck and the cab is mounted to isolation mounts which keep vibrations from the frame out of the cab. It may look like the bed it shaking unusually but its just not connected directly to the cab so they move independently, unlike a unibody vehicle.

Ok,,so this is to be expected?
