This is mentioned in some older threads, but I wanted to try again. My 2025 has a bed divider, but came without a lock cylinder. I almost convinced myself that I really don't need the lock, but when I went to move the divider I couldn't twist the handle. It was "locked." I had to use a small screwdriver to lift the locking slider inside to be able to twist the handle. So without the lock cylinder in place, it eventually just vibrates itself back into a locked state.
I tried to order 68402268AC from dealers, but what a pain. They all say this part is not for the 2025. One dealer insisted on reading a note about using the divider as an extender and how that's not allowed. I assured him I just wanted the lock cylinder, not the pins to use as an extender. I ended up ordering on-line anyway.

The next thing is how to key it. One dealer said it must come with a key. Another dealer said it does not. Someone in another thread said their dealer rekeyed it. Both dealers I talked to said they cannot rekey it, and they don't do anything with keys. I'm pretty sure it doesn't come with a key, but I'll find out. I'll likely end up having to take it to a locksmith.

Any ideas or advice?

Interested in adding a lock to mine also. Looking forward to hearing how it works out for you.

I ordered online and picked up the lock cylinder from the local dealer today. It comes in a box with several bags of pins/wafers and springs to key it. The dealer begged off doing anything with it, and told me to take it to a local locksmith.
I decided to check online and found this:

Very helpful. In about 10 minutes I was able to key the cylinder to my own key. It's working well now, and all back in the truck. If I can help, let me know.
