I found a new use for the Bed Divider - I added two fork mounts and now it works great for mounting a couple of bikes in the bed. Very useful as one of my bikes is a long wheelbase recumbent which is otherwise very hard to transport.
Just found another benefit of this configuration. I brought my short wheelbase back from Ohio and its crank sticks out over front fork which would normally hit the cab if I had fork mounts mounted behind cab as is common in pickups. But since they are mounted on the bed divider, I just moved it back. Works great!.
I did the same thing, except with worm drive hose clamps. It's rock steady.
(I was worried about the structure of the divider being too soft to maintain that bolted joint - has your set up worked well over time?)
