Battery died again

Same. I hang my keys on the wall within 20ft of my truck every single day. The keys are actually visible from the truck through a house window. My wife leaves her key in her brand new car that's parked in the garage, no issues there either.
Makes sense. Every car I have owned with keyless remote entry has NEVER had gremlin battery drain issues. And I have had plenty over the last 20+ years. No battery tenders, no putting key fobs into RF blocked bags or cases.

All right, folks. Figured I'd update. After having to jump the truck 3 times in 3 days after it sat overnight I think my battery is done for. Haven't pulled it yet (I'll get a new one tomorrow), but the MFG date on my truck door sticker says 9/19. OEM battery is damn near 6 years old, I think that might be a record.

Which is also needed for theft deterrent from the thieves who capture the key fob signal. Lots of YT vids about it.
My insurance agent (who is also a friend) STRONGLY recommended getting a farady bag for the fobs. So I bought 4 of them for like $30 on Amazon. Yes, I verified they worked. lol

Though my starting issue didn't go away until I cleaned the negative post on the fender AND turning off the Uconnect when I get out of the truck 🤦‍♂️
