Backup Camera delay

I have a 2019 Rebel. When I reverse the backup camera comes on but when I move to Drive it takes about 5 seconds before it turns off(there is an X to close in the right top corner). Is the a setting to change? Someone recently rear ended me and the bumper was replaced along with some other things probably including sensors. Is there something they should check that maybe they missed? It’s going in on Monday to fix the mileage till empty because is not working correctly. I hope there aren’t a bunch of gremlins that keep popping up. It’s been very reliable, I don’t want to dump it but I would.
