Had a couple TDIs and the last one was an 18 Atlas. Wife still has a new Tiguan. We liked the Atlas but it didn't invigorate. It was a transport tool and did that job well.Welcome which Vw did you transition from ?
Very nice! Tell us a little more about the new truck! Which trim, options and packages did you end up with..?Picked this up last Monday. Had an 03 Reg Cab Hemi and an 06 Durango Hemi before going to VW for 10 years. Loving this truck so far.
Just installed a Gator EFX Cover. Probably going to put step bar on. Don't anticipate lifting or rubber changes but you never know.
The 12" screen is awesome.

Nice! So being in IL...did you end up with the 4wd? I was surprised on how good my MPGs are with a 4wd Hemi. I also have the Etorque and 3.21..so that definitely helps. So these are my options
Big Horn Level 2
Night Edition
Mats
Underseat Storage
eTorque
Wheelhouse Liners
9 spkr w Sub
Uconnect 12
Trailer Brake Control
Wish it had LEDs but obviously not a deal breaker.
Has 3.21 gears but I don't tow. We do travel from Il to Fl every year so the economy will be appreciated. I'm impressed with the payload at 1649 lbs.
Yes 4x4 for sure. We took a 640 mile drive Saturday and had great mileage I think. 21.2 on one tank running 60-65. 17.6 on another at 75.Nice! So being in IL...did you end up with the 4wd? That's really good mileage for a new truck with pretty much no miles on her. Expect it to go up! I've been getting a solid 24 mpg at 65mph....until I start climbing the mountains on the highway lol.Yes 4x4 for sure.
