Back seat Shelf

I just fold the seats up and put a blanket down. Parker our black lab loves all of his space.

True, but small dogs can't see out the windows, so the shelf would be helpful for smaller dogs.

Good point. My guy is at the perfect hight to Boop his nose all over my windows and smear them up.

Very nice! Looks like you made a notch so that it's supported over the center console? Can you post a diagram with dimensions for others to replicate?
I'll pull it out tomorrow and get all the numbers and post them.

We just ordered the DogShell for trucks (Amazon). Comes with 60/40 split. We plan to use the 40% board, fold the 60% section under, pop up the 60% seat and put “his lordship’s” bed on the floor. Then he can choose between views and naps and we won’t be blocking the HVAC vents. I do plan to alter the center section and insert a mesh patch so the air vents can keep our hair ball comfortable if we ever set up with the full bridge.

Sorry I forgot to do this yesterday. Here is a drawing of what I did. So the corner radius on the rear is greater than the rest. I used a paint can for those. The front I used the cardboard from a roll of tape. The base board is 3/4 MDF. I hope this helps someone. Keep in mind I am no carpenter.
