I purchased a B&W Tow & Stow for my 20 1500. My truck is a 2WD Big Horn w/ 18” wheels and no suspension modifications.

The 5” model appears to only leave 11” of ground clearance. Does anyone else own the 5” model for their truck? I am concerned that departure angles will become an issue on steep driveways.

(Note: I only plan to tow U-Haul 6X12 and car carrier trailers. For both of those, I think the 3” model should be sufficient since the U-Haul units have a 18” ball height and my truck measures 19.5” to the top of the receiver, but the extra flexibility of the 5” model is nice to have.)

Shot in the dark from a forever ago post, but did you stick with the 5” drop and how’d it work out?
