Automatic trailer detection

I have a 2025 RAM 1500 Big Horn 4X4 and I was wondering if there is a way to disable the automatic trailer detection when you plug a 4 or 7 pin connector in. I installed a Putco rear brake, turn signal light under the tailgate and it disconnects my back up sensors. It also alerts me that my trailer connection might not be connected. I have been told that the dealership would be able to disable it, but they don't seem to know. I called RAM directly and they couldn't answer the question either. No one seems to know.

You might have better luck asking in the proper channel instead of the new member area that's for introducing yourself.

And I would say the answer is no, not at this time. No one has figured out how to make changes to the BCM on 2025s. You will probably either need to hardwire it or use a different adapter or modify that adapter.
