Auto Dimming Mirror Not Responding on the Radio

Hi everyone, This may be me just not knowing how it works or may be something thats known, but I bought my '23 Laramie 1500 about a month ago and have realized that when I go into the vehicle settings to turn on the mirror dimmer (12.4" uconnect 5) nothing happens. The button doesnt respond like I've seen in videos where it will turn blue showing its on, the mirror doesn't dim, nothing. Am I doing something wrong, or is there likely an issue?

I mean it has the sensors on the mirror so I would assume it does, plus its on the build sheet. but the last 6 is 541514

Ok, just wanted to check that first. Now, I'll say this: It doesn't necessarily mean your truck actually has them. Back during the Covid mess, Ram was converting "Level 2" orders to "Level B", due to chip shortages (and yours is a Level B). I had a 2022 Rebel on order that was converted, and they deleted the auto-folding mirrors (among other things). I don't really know how to physically check if your truck has the proper hardware though.
It's also interesting to note that this truck was an Avis Budget Rent-A-Car fleet vehicle, and lists "Fleet Option Editor". I wonder if they went cheap on some of the components (even if they're listed in the build sheet). I don't know, just spitballing here.
