Auto Climate Control Question 2022

Is it normal to have Auto Climate to always be blowing on your feet? Seems some is coming out the front defroster, but none comes out the front vents on auto. Been in other cars where auto climate does a great job blending air where this Ram seems to be 80% floor and 20% defroster on heat and set to Auto. Wasnt sure if this was expected or something is out of whack. Love to "set it and forget it" temp/fan, but if its always blowing on my feet hot or cold, thats annoying and defeats Auto climate control.

It probably depends on if it's blowing hot or cold. Mine blows heat more on the bottom vents and cold more on the top vents. That said, our temps have been pretty mild and mine sits around 72-74F all the time so it's never blowing hard.

I think the heat defaults to feet and ac dash vents

It depends on the temp you have selected, the outside temp, and the cabin temp.
