I just upgraded my 2019 1500 Bighorn radio to the 12 inch uconnect 5. I went from manual clinate controls to auto. I installed the harness, climate sensor and sun sensor.
I’ve never had auto, so I don’t know if this is normal.
It’s about 60 degrees here. I put it at 70 and click auto. I only feel warm air from the defrosters and at my feet.
Should I feel air blowing from the vents?

If I turn off auto and see the different vents, they all seem to work normally.

I don’t know exactly how it works, but mine “decides” where the air is to be distributed based off the temp of those areas. I’ve felt it change flow and areas on its own when in Auto mode.

I don't think it decides based that since there are only temp sensors and they are located in top part of the kick panel. I think it just decides depending on if it heating or cooling.

When warm air is called for, those locations are where the air comes from, not the forward facing vents in the dash.

Warm air is going to be on floor vents if using auto. Warm air rises. Cold air will come from vents in dash due to cold air falling and cooling legs and feet as well as upper body.
