Audio distorted above 50%

Hey all. I’ve had my ram since February. I’ve been experiencing distorted audio when using CarPlay when I put the volume above 50%. Sounds like the amp can’t keep up. Base goes away and sounds like crap.

anyone else experience this? Thanks

Do you have the base 6 speaker system? There's a thread or two about this, unfortunately there isn't a solution besides upgrading the sound system.

Yes i have the 6 speaker system. I did some searching, but came up empty. Not an audio guru, but it sounds like the amp gives up.
