Apple Play issues

Good day everyone, I always connect my Iphone using cable. Recently, phone connects and starts charging BUT apple play does not pop up, i can not use my phone via cable. I have not changed any settings.
is this a bad cable or something else.? thank you all

Delete your phone from the truck, delete your truck from your phone, then re-pair everything. Mine's done this a couple of times at random and that usually does the trick. It could be that either the truck or the phone did an update and just needs a new connection to get back on track.
