I’ve been using Apple CarPlay in my 2021 Ram with the 12” screen. I notice that the CarPlay portion is only on the upper half of the screen. Is there a way to make it full screen? Also, has anyone tried the wireless CarPlay dongle in the 5th gen Ram’s? Does it work?? Any feedback is appreciated!

Currently there is no way to make it full screen on the 12" screen. That would be pretty great if they did make that possible. I don't have the wireless carplay adapter but from what I have seen it works 98% of the time with the occasional glitch but overall a solid product.

Overall happy with the dongle on amazon. Do a search for wireless CarPlay, there’s a thread here somewhere. Most people generally satisfied, despite minor glitchiness on occasion.

Thats' my thread above. Since then, I've discovered an even better dongle that I have been using for about a month (after my CP2Air died).

Benefit is that it has removable cable so you can tailor it to your liking, and it has a nice large LED that lets you know your phone is connected (the Carplay2air has a itty bitty pinhole size LED next to the cable that is unusable).
Also, CarlinKit its sold on Amazon so if it doesn't work for you, easier to return as opposed to the other once that you have to buy from China and all that entails.

Here's the one I got. I have the Alpine system on my truck. They have several models, so choose wisely. Note that there's a coupon you can check (under the price). This will save you $25 off the price.

Cheers,
