Hey everyone,

so I am ordering a 2019 Laramie, non off-road package, and plan to put a 3.5 inch rough country lift kit on it. I have seen SEVERAL posts of guys running the Nitto Ridge Grapplers (295/60/R20), but what I am really looking for is the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac's. I am quite worried about the Load range "E" tire, being a 10 ply and riding really rough, however I do not want a super small funny looking tire with that 3.5 inch lift. Does anyone out there have any pictures of the 275/65/R20's on Duratrac's with a 3.5 inch lift? I cannot decide which tires to buy. I currently have a 2013 ram with 275/60/R20's on them and I love them, but I only have a 2.5 inch level on the truck. I guess I just really wanna see the difference if there is much between the 2 sizes.

thanks!

I don't see Jimifxst post on that one
Two seperate.
The first link is BFG ATs in that size which I figured will give you a good idea.
I didn't see a post from Jimifxst, but it's in his sig so maybe he could send to you a pic.

I'm running 275/65 20 Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003's on my 2019 Laramie with offroad group, factory wheels, no other suspension mods. I also ran NITTO Ridge Grappler's in the same size on my 2016 Ram Limited ecodiesel with air suspension. No clearance problems with either truck, wheel wells filled out nicely and they completely transform the look of the truck vs oem tires. I like the taller look to fill out the wheel wells and I think the narrower tire might cut through the snow a bit better and offer some small advantage in MPG over the 285's. I know everyone has their own preference in appearance/stance of the truck.

Downside is MPG's definitely will drop. Ride quality on the new truck is every bit as good, if not better than the old truck despite not having the air suspension. My wife actually commented on the difference out of the blue, so I was glad it wasn't just my imagination.
I'm currently running the tires at around 38 psi but may tinker with raising it a bit to see if I can improve MPG. I can probably go a bit higher because the ride is still very compliant even with the "E" load rating.

Side note, nomination for best option has to be the 33 gallon tank, glad I ponied up.

I have a 3 1/2” Rough Country lift and am actually getting 275/65 r 20’s on my stock wheels put on tomorrow but they will be AMP. Currently running aftermarket wheels with 10 ply 35’s. Still rides very well. Running around 40 psi in them. I was going to post some pics tomorrow anyway.

Not an exact match, but I am running 265/60/20 Duratrac's Love the way the look and way better IMO than the Bridgestone 20's the Laramie ships with. Everything else is stock, including the lift. I'll post pics shortly.

Yes please post some pics of the new tires!
My wife took the truck to have the tires put on today. Here are some pics. Sorry, by the time I got home it was dark so had to take them in my garage. Will try to get some better daylight pics outside within the next day or two. They are 265/75 r20 AMP Terrain pro, same tread as BFG AT’s. Also some pics compared to the 35 x 12.5’s.

I am running 38 psi in the 265’s. The ride is the same, still a good ride. My only disappointment with these AMP 265’s is they are somewhat noisy. They have basically the same tread pattern as a BFG AT which I have had before and don’t recall them being so loud. More road noise than the 35’s. Guess I will just keep the radio volume up!

do you have an exhaust on the truck?
All I did was replace the stock muffler with a 14” 5x8 oval magnaflow muffler. More of a nice low rumble than stock that you can hear in the cab when accelerating but is quiet while cruising at highway speeds. Just right for me.

Can you hear it degrade cylinders when the MDS kicks in? with the new exhaust?

You can hear it as it kicks in and out as you cruise down the highway. Once it is either in or out you cannot tell because at light accelerator pressure cruising speeds the exhaust is not loud enough to be noticeable either way.
