Hi folks, first visit here, looks like a lot of nice trucks!
I have a Hornblasters Nathan K5LA kit with 4 Viar compressors, 8 gallon tank, remote air kit for the RamBox, and digital air guage. It will be going in a 2021 2500 Limited Megacab. I was amazed how little space there was under the truck to mount anything, with the electric steps it takes up all the space along the frame rails under the cab. The front of the truck has some space behind the bumper, but not enough for the horns, at least not mounted to the manifold it comes with. Also we downgraded the tank from a 12 gallon to an 8 gallon just cause the 8 will fit under the truck but the 12 wouldn't, not mounting anything inside the bed.
My thoughts were to mount the 4 Viar compressors up in the nose of the truck behind the front bumper, so that my power leads can be as short as possible.
My tank and horns will mount in the rear, and the spare tire will be deleted for space.
Going this route, would it be OK to plumb all 4 compressors into a common manifold near the compressors, and run a 1/2" air line from the manifold back to the tank? Or would individual hoses be better?
Also, for the digital air gauge, I wanted to do a pillar pod, but cant find one for a 2021. Does anyone know of one available? I can also custom make one but then I'll have to have both my pillars wrapped to match eachother.
Thanks for all your input!
