Anybody successfully done an audio upgrade on the HK?

Hello Guys...

On other brand platforms there is sometime a way to add a signal "interpreter" that get the HU signal before the amp, so you can remove the OEM amp and then install your processor, amps and speakers after that without loss of functions and sounds from the HU.

Normally this solutions come with a special no cut harness and get an excellent clean flat zero processed signal.

Is there something like this for the HK ?

How clean is the signal coming from the DS1R? does it come unprocessed completely?

Are the chimes and phone calls working perfectly?
