any non e-torque 5.7's get refreshed at dealer?

I was asking if there were any pcm updates relating to drivability, and my dealer says they typically won't update a pcm because "it can cause other problems".
I'm not looking for specifics, but curious if anyone has had their pcm refreshed.

I specifically requested that they not update anything with my truck when I get it serviced, as all my systems function properly and don't want them to mess it up. 1 yr, 22k miles.
