Just noticed this on Friday. Didn't drive the truck all weekend, and It basically looked like it stopped. After a quick drive around the block it looks to have started back up in a pretty significant way.

Looking at my dealer schedule online, looks like they are a month out, and this seems more problematic than being able to wait that long.

2023 Laramie here.

Leak is on the front, almost middle of the truck, closer to the passenger side. Definitely not the oil drain plug, but is oil of some form.

Here is a pic, can't really get that far under my truck.

Thanks for looking.

I would take a look at oil filter. Leak looks to be inline with filter location.

I was under the truck on friday night. There was oil on the filter, but i wiped it up.

The filter actually looked like it was a good seal and on tight.

The leak appears to be coming from the right side of the filter perhaps from a higher location.

Anything drivetrain related that might be spraying as i drive?

Did you have an oil change recently? There could be some residual oil from the filter change that is slowly dripping down.

Could be something other than a filter. I have seen alot of filters leak. I wouldn't drive it. Replace the filter, it's cheap and easy, then retest for leak.

For anyone keeping score.

The dealer I purchased from was over a month out to get me in to have an oil change and a diagnosis on the leak. I ended up taking the truck to a local spot, turns out my leak was in fact the Oil Filter. The gasket was said to be faulty.

I'm thankful that's all it turned out to be.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

I can't believe a month to get an oil change. My dealer it's a week and a half for service, but oil change, you may have to wait a while, but you can just go in any time.
