I ordered the Mopar UCAs from a location that allowed for local pickup, saving about $30 in shipping costs. On Wednesday, I called and verified they were in stock and was told to place my order online and they would pull them and set 'em aside for me for a Friday pickup. They are about 1.5-2 hours away, but I was planning on being close by there Friday for something else, so I planned on just picking them up.
When I was finished with my meeting, I called them again to inform them that I was on my way and the sales guy said they had to order them and didn't have them in stock. I told him that I verified inventory on Wednesday and I was nicely informed that they must've sold my allocation to someone else.
I'd like to order these from someone that won't screw me, so I will cancel my current order and purchase elsewhere, even if it requires shipping costs. Anybody know of any discount codes to offset shipping costs? I'm finding each UCA is about $56-58 on the cheapest advertised sites. Thanks
