First oem battery dead at 35k. Now second a Duralast platinum killed at 80k. Sitting outside in cold for a day, maybe less, and locks wouldn't even work (and had quite a bit of trouble turning the backup key!. I guess its just a thing every 3 or 4 oil changes drop in a new battery?

Weird, I'm still on my OEM battery. 36k 2020.

Ram is very happy with the new battery. Replaced for free too under warranty from duralast/autozone. fwiw- all the software/buttons fully returned after just a few hours this time. Interestingly- it had also been taking a while to change from 2wd to 4wd auto and 4wd high in past few montjs. Since the new battery changes occur immediately and no more occasional service 4wd notice when changing. Wonder if it was some sort of voltage sensitivity issue.

Had to replace the battery in my wife’s car on Monday. The AC Delco didn’t seem to hold a charge nearly as good anymore after 6 1/2 years. Why can’t RAM make a battery like that?🤔
