ANC worth fixing or just disable?

Just got my new Ram and I think I'm having issues with ANC. When I'm driving it sounds like another car near by has huge subs playing but I've realized that's not the case. I've seen a lot of people on here have issues with ANC, is it worth taking to the dealer to fix? I don't really like noise cancelling headphones- they make my ears hurt after a while- so I'm wondering if I'd just be better off disabling it. I hate resorting to that immediately after buying this expensive of a truck, but not sure ANC is for me since I have problems with other noise cancelling headphones (assuming they're pretty similar things).

Also is ANC a 5th gen thing? I don't think my 2014 Sport had it.

IMHO I’d let the dealer fix it and if you decide you don’t like it after then you can disable it .
